Clinical Supervision + Consultation
Depending on your needs and capacity, I offer weekly, monthly or as needed supervision or consultation. Whether you are seeking support attaining your clinical license, consultation developing a new or existing program, honing a new set of skills, or a long-time social worker, I would love to collaborate with you.
My style of helping is relational and often tries to find the humor and lightness even in the darkest hardest moments. I have experience providing supervision and consultation to a wide range of people, including trauma therapists, community organizers, forensic interviewers, hospital social workers, crisis counselors, drug and alcohol counselors, residential treatment center workers, eating disorder therapists and crisis hotline counselors.
Truthfully, my past supervisees have done a better job describing me and my services then I ever could. Scroll down to see what they have to say.

"I sought Alea's supervision when I felt a persistent lack of what I needed in my own supervision space at work. While it took a while for me to decide to invest in myself this way, I don't for a moment regret doing so! Alea has a way of being graciously present with you in the moment of your confusion or frustration, while also stepping outside of the moment to reflect back to you difficult questions you need to address. I always left the space feeling well-heard, validated, and challenged to grow just a bit more than the day before. Alea is one of those people with a very natural skill for supervision, and I'm so very grateful to benefit from that as a growing social worker."

“Alea was exactly what I was looking for in a supervisor; caring, funny, accountable, very knowledgeable and EVERY supervision session I walked away feeling seen, heard and ready to take on the challenge I was working on. She was able to balance the line of support person and supervisor effortlessly and I felt like I could bring up any difficult topic that was impeding with my work whether it be personal, spiritual, mental, or political. A typical session with Alea starts with a feeling of warmth and connection and moves into a concrete solutions based conversation about how to best move forward with any questions I brought to the table. She was truly my dream supervisor!”
